Medellín

Medellín is known as the city of eternal spring and is the most visited city in Colombia. In this destination, you will have unique experiences that will leave indelible memories.

We will visit the most popular district of Medellín, where its inhabitants will tell us about their experiences during the war and how they managed to transform this place into a territory of peace and resilience.

We will meet the warm and welcoming local people (paisas) who will greet us with their characteristic paisa accent and make us feel at home.

We will enjoy an afternoon at a silletera farm, discovering why Colombia is the second largest exporter of flowers and learning about the importance of flowers in Medellín and its culture. We will immerse ourselves in local traditions.

"Cuando pasan los silleteros es Antioquia la que pasa", it is often said when we see these paisas carrying their silletas, which weigh up to 70 kilos.

In Medellín, the Metrocable is not just a tourist attraction but an essential means of transportation that connects hundreds of paisas to the city. It offers breathtaking panoramic views as it ascends the mountains surrounding the city.

Afterward, we’ll visit the town center, admire the painted panels (zocalos), and immerse ourselves in the local culture.
  • We’ll enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch and a scenic boat ride on the dam, taking in the picturesque farms and countryside. We’ll learn about the history and traditions of the region from an expert guide. You’ll have free time to practice Spanish with the locals, shop, or relax in a cozy café.
